The second 105 project of the South African shipyard has finally taken off. The sister boat of the SY-Taniwha<\/strong> installed a most powerful hydraulic system<\/strong> with two PTO pumps in addition to the two AF-LSCP-24<\/strong> power packs<\/strong>. The powerpacks have axial piston variable pumps with constant power and hydraulic load-sensing while the pumps on the generator are variable displacement pumps with electronic power control to manage the sharing of electrical and hydraulic loads.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The system is controlled and monitored through the latest PLC technology<\/strong>, both hardware and software.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
