The second 105 project of the South African shipyard has finally taken off. The sister boat of the SY-Taniwha installed a most powerful hydraulic system with two PTO pumps in addition to the two AF-LSCP-24 power packs. The powerpacks have axial piston variable pumps with constant power and hydraulic load-sensing while the pumps on the generator are variable displacement pumps with electronic power control to manage the sharing of electrical and hydraulic loads. 

The system is controlled and monitored through the latest PLC technology, both hardware and software.
